doll making inspirations
My friend Peggy sent me this slide show of work by photographer Hans Sylvester for doll making inspiration. Thank you Peggy, they are gorgeous photographs and I thought I would share them here. I’m not sure if I’m worthy of dolls as fantastic as these photographs, but they are wonderful inspirations for dolls and paintings anyway.
Below are a couple of silly photographs, maybe inspirations for another type of doll, that were taken during a trip to Maine for a family visit. Enjoy.

Steamer clams, not a pretty sight, but boy are they good. I ate enough at this sitting to make any raccoon stand up and take notice.

Being silly with my girls. I'm the old Charlies Angel in front. In back, Daughters Kate and Claire and niece Hannah
I have a couple of dolls and paintings listed on Ebay this week that will end on Monday night. Drop by and check them out if you feel so inclined.
ebay auctions end 9/5-6
These dolls are listed on Ebay and end this weekend. No bids on some, so hurry on down for an art bargain! I had done a set of witch sisters last year that I sold on Ebay and had a special order request for another set as similar as possible. I never received payment from the requestee, so I decided tis the season to list this 2nd edition pair of sisters. Last years sisters were representatives of the east and west, this years are from the north and south and so, thus ends this edition of witch sisters. Other versions may appear at some point, but I wont be trying to replicate these two ever again. (so don’t ask!)
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Don’t work too hard and drive safely.
